Everyone was so tired this morning ... Silas and I actually slept off and on until 10:30 .... it was wonderful :) Would have been better though if I would get myself into bed at night at a reasonable hour..
Sea Breeze was fun ... and hectic. Having two children who want to do two different things and an infant who would prefer to nurse at a moments notice was a bit of a challenge. But once we got a few kinks worked out and got used to the heat ... the rest of the day went smoothly.
I am amazed at how brave Sophia is. She has no fear when it comes to any roller coaster or speeding ride that twirls and spins. Jakob on the other hand was not as amused. I really had to encourage him or give him the " are you kidding me " speech when he waited in the lines and decided not to ride at the last second. It was a bit frustrating and Sophia was a little mad that she did a lot of solo riding ... but we all dealt with our little quirks quite well I think.
They loved the water park of course.... This was Sophia's first year to do all the big slides that Jake could do. And they did ... over and over.
Lot's of fun ... some laughs ..a few complaints ... but pretty much a perfect day.
As for Silas ... it just amazes me to watch him look at everything. It all must look so big. He was wide eyed and babbling at things ... lots of squeals and kicks :) Too cute. He is defiantly a water Baby. He was right in it and loving every second!
So today was fairly quiet. Did a little school shopping ...Sophia tried to convince me to bring a few hamsters home ... or at least one Guinea Pig from Pet Smart. We will pass on that for now ...as we have the School turtles for the summer. The Zoo here is full. Hard to believe that they will be back in school a month from today.
Unbelievable ....
Until then we will hang on to Summer as tight as we can :)
