Oh the places you will go ....





...Today was awesome:)
After the dreaded { words of Sophia } Drama Camp ... we all headed out to the lake. Picnic lunch items in tow along with my plethora of bags and must haves for the afternoon. Could the day have been any more perfect ? A real summer day...with sunshine, blue skies and water. Totally perfect.
The kids were pumped and ready for some R&R ... even Silas enjoyed the sand ( briefly) and the breeze. He actually took a 30 minute nap in the stroller ... that was a nice break for me and my arms:)
So we played and splashed and laughed. The kids chased and fed seagulls .... then we were stuck with them for awhile....I am the biggest bird phobe. I don't want any bird big or small flying near me or any window I might be around. Gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
So it was fun. We then packed up came home and everyone had to shower...Ana to go home-Jakob to karate and Sophia to dance. I didn't get that far ... always last in line when it comes to that;) So everyone is pooped out. Silas is finally asleep { for the moment} and the kids are all settled in...
Just taking a little me time for a few ... feels pretty good if I say so myself.

Moments Today ..

If you are anything like me .. or have a household like mine you would know that no day begins quietly .. smoothly or without incident.
As a mom of three .. Not to mention being a part time parent to my significant other ... you have to be prepared for some excitment in your day.
We were forced into life this morning at 6:12 am by Fisher. He is not one of the two legged children .. but the wildest of the two four legged ones. He was up .. and something had him perplexed.. He was barking .. howling and bouncing his kennel all over my artroom floor.
" are you kidding me " I was thinking .. hair straight up ..heart pounding and all of a sudden realizing I was desperate need of a drink of water. So down the stairs i went to see what this wild animal could be so upset about. I checked the door first .. no one there. I went in to the room and found him frantly barking at .. himself .. yes , I apparently forgot to replace one of my large mirrors when I was moving things around.
I stood there him looking at me then his reflection and back at me .... Yes Fisher .. This is a very embarressing moment for you . He was now wagging his tail all chipper and happy to see me .. Great , I'm up.
I let him outside and turn around to find the three two legged wonders staring at me ..
" So .. mom , What's for Breakfast ?"
