seriously ....

Dear Silas ,

I love all our close moments ... all 23 hours a day of them:)
I love your drool and sharp teeth. I want to eat your toes and squeeze
your cheeks all the time. I love your stories and wild roll overs and the
way you let all the cereal fall out of your mouth and somehow miss the bib every time :) You are so cute and kissable and I can not get enough of you..really I can't.
...But, do you think that just maybe we can get a little sleep tonight ?
Mommy is too old to only sleep 45 minutes a night ..and she is becoming
quite delirious now.
So please please .... Pretty please..just sleep :)
I love you lil' Mister :)

Goodnight
Love,
mommy

Moments Today ..

If you are anything like me .. or have a household like mine you would know that no day begins quietly .. smoothly or without incident.
As a mom of three .. Not to mention being a part time parent to my significant other ... you have to be prepared for some excitment in your day.
We were forced into life this morning at 6:12 am by Fisher. He is not one of the two legged children .. but the wildest of the two four legged ones. He was up .. and something had him perplexed.. He was barking .. howling and bouncing his kennel all over my artroom floor.
" are you kidding me " I was thinking .. hair straight up ..heart pounding and all of a sudden realizing I was desperate need of a drink of water. So down the stairs i went to see what this wild animal could be so upset about. I checked the door first .. no one there. I went in to the room and found him frantly barking at .. himself .. yes , I apparently forgot to replace one of my large mirrors when I was moving things around.
I stood there him looking at me then his reflection and back at me .... Yes Fisher .. This is a very embarressing moment for you . He was now wagging his tail all chipper and happy to see me .. Great , I'm up.
I let him outside and turn around to find the three two legged wonders staring at me ..
" So .. mom , What's for Breakfast ?"
